Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and involves building and leading compliance teams in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring business activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
  • Providing strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement to manage compliance risks
  • Leading compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions
  • Managing global compliance projects and initiatives
  • Designing controls and mitigation strategies
  • Supporting the business in designing compliant initiatives
  • Implementing compliance policies and training internationally
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders professionally and discreetly

Qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience in compliance, especially sanctions and third-party due diligence
  • Experience in a global leadership role
  • Proven ability to develop compliance programs
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading large transformation projects
  • Ability to operate both operationally and strategically
