Worcester Community Trust (WCT) is seeking a Director of Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for our community-based services. The postholder will ensure services are high quality, responsive to local need, financially sustainable and delivered in line with contractual, legal and organisational requirements.

The role will lead Contract Managers, Team Leads and service teams, driving performance, risk management and continuous improvement in collaboration with the CEO, SLT

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic leadership for community-based services.
• Strong track record of managing multi-site contracts and budgets.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, embed safeguarding and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the community-based services portfolio.
• Oversee contracts, performance, quality, budgeting and risk management.
• Lead contract managers and service teams; ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
• Develop partnerships with funders, commissioners and external stakeholders.
