Job summary

Worcester Community Trust in Worcester seeks a Director of Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for its community-based services, ensuring high quality, responsive provision and financial sustainability.

Reporting to the CEO and working with the Senior Leadership Team and Board, you will shape service strategy, monitor performance, manage budgets and risks, and build strong partnerships to improve outcomes for local people.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership for the community-based services portfolio, ensuring services remain relevant, effective and aligned with WCT’s mission, values and priorities.
• Lead, develop and support managers and team leads with clear expectations, supervision and performance management.
• Oversee the delivery of multiple contracts, grants and commissioned services, with monitoring of outputs, outcomes and user experience.
• Manage budgets, income, forecasting and variances to ensure financial sustainability and value for money.
