Role: Head of Community & Fan Engagement

Salary: £65K - £75K

We’re hiring on behalf of a celebrity-led media company on a mission to build one of the most culturally relevant brands of the next decade! Combining long-form and short-form content, product drops, and community-first experiences, this business is built around storytelling, fandom, and shared values. They work with people the public love.

As Head of Community and Fan Engagement, you’ll lead the charge in building a movement—growing an audience into a thriving community, and turning followers into lifelong fans. This is a unique opportunity to shape what community means at brand level, and create real cultural impact. There may be a need for occasional international travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the community strategy across social platforms, forums, and owned channels: think about where people go to hang out and talk
  • Build authentic fan engagement around content, merchandise, and key moments
  • Cultivate relationships with superfans, brand advocates, and online creators
  • Collaborate closely with content, marketing, social media and product teams to align on launches, pop-ups and drops
  • Create initiatives that drive conversation, participation, and loyalty
  • Track engagement metrics and community sentiment to inform strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience growing communities from scratch or scaling existing ones
  • A deep understanding of internet culture, fandoms, and what drives emotional connection
  • Confident working across Discord, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and other community-led platforms
  • Creative thinker who can craft compelling campaigns and conversations
  • Data-aware mindset with a bias for experimentation and continuous learning
  • Strong communicator and collaborator across teams and audience types
