Job Description
- Delivery of strategic communications and engagement strategy and plans in line with corporate priorities and professional standards, providing an effective service to executive, partners and stakeholders.
- Lead the development and delivery of a Channels Strategy to ensure the organisation continually makes the best and most effective use of all available channels.
- Lead the delivery of all aspects of public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement, political & media monitoring, launches & event management, award submissions, internal & external communications
- Manage and enhance relationships with key stakeholders within the Transport & Distribution sector.
- Oversee the production of effective and engaging communication materials.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to align communication and engagement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Ensure the company's brand values are consistently represented.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications' should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience leading communication and engagement teams.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector.
- Capability to develop and implement successful engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in handling stakeholder relationships and communication processes.
