Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting for a Head Of Commercial to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance.

As part of Anglian Water’s @One Alliance, we aim to create a sustainable and resilient future for water. With an ambitious £2.3 billion capital investment in AMP8, we are transforming infrastructure, sustainability, and digital innovation to protect the environment and support growing communities.

As Head of Commercial, you will be central to driving the commercial success of a Business Unit managing a portfolio of projects valued between £600m - £750m over five years. Reporting to the Delivery or Commercial Director, you will oversee all aspects of the commercial function, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while promoting collaboration, innovation, and value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement commercial strategies that improve performance and meet outperformance targets.
2. Performance Management: Monitor the commercial performance of the Business Unit, ensuring effective cost assurance, KPI reporting, and governance.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
4. Procurement & Supply Chain Management: Drive procurement innovation and align supply chain performance with programme objectives.
5. Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, care, and continuous improvement.
6. Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Promote a culture prioritizing health, safety, and wellbeing across the team and supply chain.
