About You

We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Head of Commercial to head up our strong Sales and Procurement teams and take the lead in shaping and delivering our commercial strategy. The Head of Commercial will have expertise in Sales and Procurement and will balance leadership with operational delivery.

This is a high-impact senior leadership role where you’ll be setting direction, building high-performing teams and forging strong partnerships with customers and suppliers that deliver real results.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working in partnership with the Managing Director, to develop and execute the commercial strategy across sales and procurement.
  • Lead, mentor and develop high-performing sales and procurement teams with a focus on accountability, innovation and expertise.
  • Build strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers, managing designated key accounts and driving solution-based selling.
  • Oversee category and supplier management to ensure delivery of high quality, competitive ingredients.
  • Use market insights and data to shape category strategies that optimise product, pricing, and stock performance.
  • Leverage commercial and consumer insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities in the market, adapting strategies to maintain market advantage.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work with the Group Finance Director to set and manage sales and procurement budgets.

Salary:From £70,000 per annum (dependant on experience and skills) plus Company car or car allowance plus bonus and benefits.

Working Arrangements:40 hours per week, hybrid position, 3 days on site and 2 days on the road/working from home.
