The Opportunity

This is a compelling opportunity for a Head of Commercial Finance to join a global industry leader in a strategic commercial finance leadership position. Reporting directly to a Divisional CFO and partnering with the business unit EGM, the purpose of the position is to support the EGM to drive the strategy and performance of the division.

The Challenge

A highly visible commercial finance executive-level position, the Head of Commercial Finance will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the division and driving financial performance. The role will be challenging and exciting as you oversee the delivery of complex commercial matters and oversee performance improvement matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the EGM to lead and deliver strategic initiatives
• Providing business case and commercial analysis to support new business initiatives
• Providing commercial decision-making support and governance to the broader business
• Strategic product and channel reviews, pricing, marketing effectiveness, customer lifetime value, and capital investment analysis
• Providing accurate financial information and commercial support for major projects and new strategic initiatives
• M&A initiatives and organic growth projects
• Developing initiatives to improve the productivity and profitability of the group
• Acting as a trusted commercial advisor to the business unit
