Job Description

A new role has been created for a Head of / Commercial Director, targeting all of Omio's non-core markets.

Location options include London (UK Remote) or Berlin. This global role is ideal for a highly driven individual with a strong commercial mindset and the flexibility to travel frequently, meeting new suppliers and closing high-level deals with CXO stakeholders.

Help with Omio’s global expansion by driving impact, closing deals, and empowering global travelers to discover, book, and enjoy seamless journeys across transportation modes worldwide.

We seek a bold, strategic, and entrepreneurial leader to define and execute Omio’s growth, focusing on expanding our inventory in non-core and emerging markets to unlock new revenue streams and accelerate international sales.

You should be a deal-maker and relationship builder with a passion for scaling businesses across borders, thriving on navigating complexity, spotting opportunities, and forging high-value partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and lead a global expansion roadmap to grow Omio’s inventory footprint in high-potential regions.
  • Build and lead a regional sales and business development team focused on sales and revenue targets.
  • Represent Omio at senior levels across targeted industries globally.
  • Drive complex, high-value partnerships and negotiations with C-level stakeholders and strategic partners worldwide.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Service to align and deliver on business objectives.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in business, commercial, finance, or consulting roles.
  • 5+ years leading a sales team achieving ambitious targets.
  • Experience in fast-growth startups, ideally within the tech industry.
  • Proven success in developing teams and managing complex negotiations with international clients.
  • Experience in regional and product launches and managing scalable operations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive deliverables.
  • Innovative mindset to go beyond industry standards.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
