Job description

As Head of Commercial, you'll be at the heart of driving the commercial success of a designated Business Unit, looking after a portfolio of projects of between £600m - £750m over five years. Reporting to the Delivery or Commercial Director, you'll manage all aspects of the commercial function, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while fostering collaboration, innovation, and value-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute commercial strategies that enhance performance and align with our outperformance targets.
• Performance Management: Oversee the commercial performance of the Business Unit, ensuring effective cost assurance, KPI reporting, and governance.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless integration across the supply chain.
• Procurement & Supply Chain Management: Drive procurement innovation and ensure supply chain performance aligns with programme goals.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, care, and continuous improvement.
• Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Champion a culture of health, safety, and well-being across the team and supply chain.
