ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Overview:

To achieve our ambitious growth objectives, we are seeking an exceptional commercial technologist to lead our revenue operations team, consisting of solution architects and customer success managers.

As the leader in this position, you will support the development of the strategy and oversee daily collaboration with sales, product, cloud, and cybersecurity teams.

Your expertise will make you a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on product and technology-related decisions. Additionally, you will orchestrate and lead technical engagements with our most significant customers and partners, focused on designing the scope of cloud migrations and solution adoption.

Qualifications:

The Head of Cloud Solutions should possess the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on/deep technical experience across cloud, network, storage, security, and data centre

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and owning presales engagements with new and existing customers supporting their successful cloud transformation journey
  • Developing our customer success team, acting as the voice of the customer to support strong customer relationships, drive renewals, and identify opportunities for growth
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the technology marketplace, trends, and innovative solutions
  • Establishing strong and enduring partner relationships with Broadcom, Microsoft Partner Success and Account Management Teams, and developing our strong AWS relationship
  • Upholding certifications and accreditations within the solution architect team and contributing to training programs for engineering/service
  • Meeting personal KPIs and goal-oriented objectives
  • Developing and maintaining technical skills to provide thought leadership and expertise to clients

Working Pattern:

We operate with a hybrid working policy where you are required to be in one of our UK locations at a minimum of twice a week, at your manager’s discretion.

ABOUT YOU

Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and providing technical pre-sales/solution architecture capabilities within customer-facing sales cycles
  • Passion for engaging and leading in-person meetings with prospects and customers; comfortable traveling across the UK
  • Skills or strong desire to develop Microsoft Cloud skills or Amazon Web Services
  • Deep knowledge and certifications related to the Microsoft Azure platform, such as Microsoft Azure Expert-Level certifications
  • Cybersecurity and network engineering pre-sales experience are advantageous, but support will be provided from these business functions

This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week. You will be based from Brightsolid’s offices in Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Manchester, with the opportunity to work remotely and flexibly. There are occasional in-office requirements as well as work-related travel commitments.
