Job summary

Delaney & Bourton is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Platform Manager to lead the strategic direction, resilience, and performance of a multi-platform IT environment across the UK. You will oversee cloud, network, and platform operations to ensure stability, scalability and security, supporting circa 8k+ end-users.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, owning service reliability, automation, and long-term platform strategy, with a focus on minimising downtime and embedding self-healing

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure teams in complex environments.
• Expertise across AWS/Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and security tooling.
• Solid networking knowledge (SD-WAN, routing, switching, WiFi).
• Experience with Citrix, Netscaler, and SQL platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver large IT projects while maintaining operational stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure strategy and governance across cloud (AWS/Azure), networking, and integration platforms.
• Drive a proactive, reliability-focused approach to system performance and uptime.
• Oversee incident escalation, risk mitigation, and future-proofing of infrastructure.
• Manage team performance, development, and capability building.
• Own lifecycle and change management from project delivery into BAU.
• Identify and deliver automation initiatives to improve efficiency and ROI.
• Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.
