As the Head of Clinical Risk & Incident Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance and risk management across our global operations. This role is vital in minimizing uncertainties in achieving business objectives caused by clinical risks and incidents, thereby directly contributing to the safety and well-being of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide advice, support, oversight, and challenge to business units regarding clinical risk and incident management.
  2. Embed clinical risk and incident management requirements of the Enterprise Clinical Governance Policy and Clinical Risk Management Standard.
  3. Develop a clinical risk strategy that aligns with the clinical risk profile.
  4. Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  5. Liaise with the Group Clinical team - assess emerging clinical risks or opportunities.
  6. Develop and deliver training, education, and awareness-building.
  7. Ensure accurate reporting and appropriate escalation of all clinical risks and incidents.
  8. Line manage the Clinical Risk and Incident Manager.
  9. Attend and contribute to governance committee meetings.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Significant clinical risk management experience and / or extensive clinical governance experience in complex environments.
  2. Professional Clinical qualification (RN).
  3. Experience working in large, complex, regulated healthcare businesses.
  4. Proven experience in developing and executing risk strategies that increase risk maturity.
  5. Healthcare regulatory knowledge.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Demonstrable stakeholder management skills.
