About the Company

We are looking for a Civil structural engineering manager to head up the division, based in the North West of England.

About the Role

Responsible for engineering scope projects, studies, and bids, compliance, resource management and customer facing role. Strong written communicator, presentation skills, project delivery, with BEng (Hons) in engineering (preferably Civil or Structural and chartered (CEng) (ICE or IStructE)

Responsibilities

  • Head up the division.
  • Conduct studies and bids.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Oversee resource management.
  • Engage in customer facing activities.

Qualifications

  • Chartered (CEng MIStructE) to be considered.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in the Civil/structural sector.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of construction & process industries.
  • Ability to use STAAD and TEKLA.
  • Experience of managing a complete team.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional certifications in relevant fields.
  • Experience with project management software.
