Overview

Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled leader who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to deliver a quality early learning and childcare provision and ensure that the children attending are offered the best start in life and are ready to succeed.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the overall management of the pre-five centre.

Qualifications and Experience

• Extensive experience of working in a pre-five establishment, previous management experience including quality assurance and budget monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence, Pre-birth to 3 and National Quality Assurance Tool Kits.
• You must hold relevant professional qualification in childcare, education and/or social work or equivalent qualification, BA in childhood practice or equivalent as defined by SSSC and be registered with the SSSC.
• Experience and knowledge of current pre-five issues, legislation, policy, and experience of working with children with additional support needs is desirable.
