To lead and develop a team of General Managers to provide exceptional service to our clients. Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies.

Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to your team, line manager, and leadership in line with the Compass vision, values, and overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a safety culture, ensuring your team operates in accordance with health & safety procedures, providing a safe environment for all users of the premises across all contracts.
• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships and internal/external stakeholder relationships.
• Lead your team to deliver profitability for the subsector by achieving financial targets.
• Review performance, identify improvements, and ensure contract compliance to exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze market insights and align service delivery with customer needs, fostering both consistency and innovation.
• Support the development and implementation of the subsector strategy, embedding it within the team to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collect and track feedback at site level for continuous improvement, using channels like apps, in-unit, and student committees.
• Coordinate with central functions to enhance service offers and drive initiatives.
• Monitor and act on client satisfaction surveys.
• Support the implementation of centrally driven service initiatives.
• Ensure menus are fit for purpose, with current costings and specifications.
• Support strategic sourcing and supplier compliance, maximizing PI opportunities through promotional activities.
• Maintain high food quality and service standards, addressing deviations promptly.
• Build and develop your team, recruiting, training, and creating opportunities for progression, ensuring a strong succession pipeline.
• Foster collaboration and share best practices within the team and with the wider business.
• Review labor structures and ratios, develop plans at all levels, and prioritize staff development.
• Manage the team in line with company procedures, including performance management, labor management, and HR practices.
