Job summary

Mulberry House in Bovey Tracey is looking for a Head of Care with a genuine passion for care home services and extensive experience in leading a team. The role involves working 42 hours per week, including alternate weekends.

Summary of the role:

The Head of Care is a position for a confident and experienced individual passionate about elderly care. Candidates should have several years of experience in care, preferably in a nursing or residential home, and have progressed to at least a Senior Carer role.

You will leverage your skills and experience to lead resident care alongside the Deputy Manager and Manager, taking responsibility for the care team. Your main focus will be to ensure high standards of care, pursue continuous improvement, and actively involve residents. You will support the Deputy Manager and Manager in their duties and handle delegated responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include monitoring care delivery, motivating, teaching, and managing your care team. A strong knowledge of CQC regulations, policies, and procedures of the home is essential.
