Job summary

Resicare Alliance is opening a 32-bed children's residential service. As Head of Care you will oversee care quality, compliance, staffing and performance across the site, guiding it through registration, opening and initial admissions.

You will line manage the leadership team, embed Positive Behaviour Support, and ensure safeguarding standards while collaborating with families, Local Authorities and health professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years' residential childcare experience in the last 5, including 2 at Registered Manager level or equivalent.
• Experience of line managing managers and leading large teams.
• Experience supporting children or young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and regulation for looked after children.
• Full UK driving licence.

As Head of Care, you'll be responsible for care quality, compliance, staffing and performance across the site. You'll lead it through registration, opening and its first admissions.
