Job summary

To provide leadership and management of the Trust's estate capital development and delivery programme. The Trust capital budget is variable year on year but ranges from £18m - £46m of which circa 50% will be overseen by the post holder. To support the Assistant Director of Capital Projects in the development and management of the estate capital development programme, ensuring that it's aligned to the Trust's overall strategy and clinical and corporate strategies.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for and oversee the design and development of capital schemes as delegated, from inception to completion.

To ensure that schemes are delivered and handed over such that the Trust's estate is safe for patients, staff and visitors.

To line manage the Trust's Capital Projects team.

To deputize for the Assistant Director of Capital Projects as and when required.
