Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking an experienced Head of Capital Modelling actuary in London for a 12-month FTC. You will oversee the Internal Model and capital-setting activities while guiding a team through a major transformation, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer.

The role requires leadership in the London market with Lloyd's exposure, deep Solvency II expertise, and proven ability to engage executive stakeholders on complex regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of capital modelling teams in London or Lloyd's market.
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II and internal models.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and executives.
• Delivery of large-scale regulatory or model-change programmes.

A leading global (re)insurance is looking for an experienced Head of Capital Modelling actuary to join their team on a 12 month FTC. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you'll provide strategic oversight of the Internal Model, capital-setting activities, regulatory and capital-related initiatives, while leading the team through a period of transformation.

Key Requirements

• Capital modelling leadership experience within the London market and Lloyd's
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II and internal models.
• Previous experience managing a team and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience delivering large-scale regulatory or model change programmes.

• £160,000 - £190,000 base salary.
