An established and fast-paced value retailer is looking for a Head of Buying to lead their Homeware division. This is a pivotal leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a trading-focused environment and can shape strategy while keeping close to product, pace, and performance.
Own the Homeware buying strategy, ensuring the right product at the right price for every season.
Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team of Senior Buyers and Assistants.
Build a clear commercial vision in collaboration with Merchandising, Marketing and senior leadership.
Forge strong supplier partnerships to drive cost effectiveness, speed to market and innovation.
Balance the art of product with the science of trading - reacting quickly to customer demand and retail trends.
Proven track record as a Head of Buying, or equivalent senior buying leader.
Experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment - ideally value or volume-led.
Strong understanding of Homeware and the seasonal trading cycle.
Skilled in team development, negotiation, commercial strategy and cross-functional leadership.
A natural collaborator who understands the power of product, pace and people.
