Job summary

The University of Southampton is seeking a Head of Business Support to lead a comprehensive, integrated support function across Estates & Facilities. You will drive executive services, information and communication delivery, and continuous improvement across systems and processes.

You will build an agile, digitally enabled team that delivers proactive admin and helpdesk support to the E&F leadership and senior managers, while promoting efficiency and consistency across the estates portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in delivering executive support and admin excellence.
• Ability to drive improvements using modern digital tools in a complex environment.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across estates or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated, coordinated, flexible business support across Estates & Facilities.
• Provide high-quality executive support to E&F Leadership Team and senior management.
• Review and improve internal systems, procedures and processes for consistency.
• Drive operational excellence and enable effective decision-making across the portfolio.
• Champion diversity and inclusion within the leadership team and workflows.
