Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Head of Business Performance & Delivery to lead end-to-end performance across Corporate & Institutional Banking, shaping the Balanced Scorecard, board reporting, operating models and organisational effectiveness.
You will work with senior leaders to drive delivery outcomes in a scalable, resilient and well-controlled manner within a regulated financial services environment.
JOB TITLE: Head of Business Performance & Delivery
LOCATIONS: Bristol / Edinburgh / London
HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments including hybrid working expectations in line with our Flexibility Works policy.
At Lloyds Banking Group, we're dedicated to helping Britain prosper and are seeking a Head of Business Performance & Delivery to play a key role in shaping how Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) delivers effective business management, organisational effectiveness and oversight of service provision to the non-ring-fenced bank.
This is a highly visible senior leadership role within the Strategic Enablement team, accountable for end-to-end business performance across CIB and responsible for owning and evolving the CIB Balanced Scorecard, Board and Executive reporting, operating model, organisation design and organisational effectiveness, service provision, location strategy and business controls.
Working closely with senior leaders across CIB, Strategic Enablement, LBCM and Group functions, you'll provide leadership, insight and challenge to support informed decision-making and ensure the organisation drives its strategic objectives and delivery outcomes in a scalable, resilient and structured way.
Significant experience leading business performance within a large, complex organisation. You'll have a strong track record of developing and evolving enterprise performance management approaches, scorecards and management information that provide meaningful insight into business performance, risks, opportunities and delivery outcomes.
Experience developing and maintaining reporting for senior leadership, Boards and executive committees, alongside performance measures that support effective decision-making. You'll be comfortable translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
Experience assessing, designing and embedding operating models and organisational structures that support effective delivery, clear accountability and organisational resilience. This may include organisation design, governance frameworks, service delivery models, organisational effectiveness and strategic transformation initiatives.
Experience leading complex service delivery arrangements, with the ability to balance performance, quality, resilience, governance and business expectations. Experience of service provision or complex internal service delivery models within a regulated environment would be beneficial.
A proven ability to build credibility and influence at senior levels, providing constructive challenge and recommendations that support strategic priorities and organisational outcomes. You'll be comfortable operating across complex matrixed environments, working across teams, functions and competing priorities.
Experience leading within robust governance and control environments, with the ability to establish effective governance arrangements, support clear ownership of actions and communicate risk and control matters clearly to senior audiences.
Knowledge of financial services and regulated environments would be advantageous. Experience of service provision between ring-fenced and non-ring-fenced banking entities, or a comparable complex organisational structure, would be beneficial.
