Head of Built Environment Futures Assembly

Part time (21 hrs/wk), permanent

Remote place of work

Salary range: £50,000 to £58,000 FTE pa plus benefits

Built Environment Futures Assembly (BEFA) is a newly established initiative aiming to positively impact the built environment. This is a new role, offering a great opportunity to lead the development and implementation of BEFA.

As the Head of BEFA, you will facilitate strategic stakeholder engagement, drive collaboration, inform policy through evidence-based outputs, and support BEFA in addressing sector challenges via engagement, education, and collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual to contribute to UCEM's development and its impact on the built environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the development, delivery, and implementation of BEFA, ensuring stakeholder needs are met and standards maintained
• Building and maintaining networks across decision-making forums, including the BEFA Strategic Advisory Board and thematic workstreams
• Organizing and facilitating workshops, roundtables, and stakeholder meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Providing expertise and advice on BEFA-related matters across UCEM

Main requirements:

• Experience in developing and maintaining networks, engaging external stakeholders, and managing relationships
• Experience in the built environment, higher education, or related sectors
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, complex organization
