A new opportunity has arisen for a Head of Building Safety to join an ambitious housing association based in the Southwest. You will be joining a community-driven organisation that are committed to building better lives. Owning, managing and delivering improvements to close to 10,000 homes across the region.
Your new role
As a Head of Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering compliance and building safety for the organisation. You will lead a dedicated team and oversee all aspects of property compliance, including fire safety, gas, electrical, water hygiene, and asbestos management. Your diverse new role will involve the development and implementation of robust compliance frameworks and policies, ensuring that there is full adherence to the building safety act, and other relevant legislation. You will lead on risk management and audit processes, and act as the organisation's building safety 'responsible person'.
