The role/responsibilities

As Head of Building, you'll take the commercial lead on landmark commercial schemes, overseeing projects from early-stage feasibility through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Quantity Surveying input on a range of office, mixed-use, and commercial developments.
  • Managing cost plans, procurement, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Driving quality and consistency across the team's commercial outputs.
  • Supporting the professional growth of a high-performing team.
  • Strengthening client relationships and contributing to business development activities.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts is essential.
  • Experience delivering commercial or office-led developments.
