Michael Page is partnered with a growing fit-out specialist to appoint a Head of Build in Leeds. You will lead the Build and Maintenance divisions, ensuring safe, profitable delivery of high-quality refurbishment projects across the North.

You will oversee projects across the North East, North West and East Midlands, manage site teams and subcontractors, and drive commercial performance while mentoring operational staff.

Qualifikationen

• Senior delivery/leadership experience in construction-related environments.
• Background in commercial fit out, interiors or refurbishment projects.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through to completion.
• Track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and large budgets.
• Strong commercial awareness with margins and profitability responsibility.
• Proven ability to build lasting relationships with blue‑chip clients.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, collaborative approach across business areas.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance and construction best practice.

Aufgaben

• Lead multiple fit out, refurbishment and maintenance projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Manage site teams, maintenance engineers, subcontractors and delivery partners.
• Drive operational performance, client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Take responsibility for budgets, resource planning, labour utilisation and commercial performance.
• Work closely with estimating and commercial teams on pricing, tender submissions and future opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a senior point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Support business growth through operational excellence and repeat business opportunities.
• Develop, mentor and grow high-performing operational teams.
• Ensure all projects meet health & safety, compliance and quality standards.
• Provide strategic leadership, reporting and performance data to company leadership.
