Job Title: Head of Brand & Propositions

Location: UK wide - Fully remote with some occasionally onsite presence required

Salary: £62,000 - £76,000 per annum plus car allowance

Responsibilities
  1. Lead, manage and develop the team through the whole employee life cycle.
  2. Develop the strategic approach to new and existing products and propositions, including legacy, brand, individual giving, partnerships, commercial offerings, and philanthropic propositions.
  3. Develop and lead the implementation of the organisation’s brand strategy to resonate with target audiences, communicate our purpose effectively, and drive engagement, loyalty, and income generation.
  4. Champion the consistency of the organisation’s brand across physical and digital assets, ensuring alignment with our core purpose.
  5. Use brand-related data to provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Ensure the organisation’s brand evolves in response to market trends while maintaining its core identity.
  7. Drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the organisation’s overall branding approach.
  8. Ensure the use of technology to maintain consistency and relevance in all assets.
  9. Champion the use of data and audience insight to develop and refine fundraising propositions, products, and journeys for maximum engagement.
  10. Lead the team to focus on legacy income and adapt strategies based on insights to grow future income.
  11. Oversee the development of products and propositions to meet diverse audience needs and drive engagement.
  12. Analyse market trends and customer insights to inform data-driven strategic decisions and improve proposition effectiveness.
  13. Ensure customer feedback is integrated into proposition and journey development to enhance customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  14. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of brand and proposition strategies to ensure continuous improvement and value for money.
Role-specific knowledge & skills

Essential

  • Proven experience in Fundraising proposition development and brand management.
  • Proven experience in integrated strategy development for legacy and brand.
  • Ability to interpret market research and data to inform strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing integrated journeys and propositions based on insight.
  • Proven experience in delivering through others.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in the charity or nonprofit sector.
  • Professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM or equivalent).
