Head of Brand and Acquisition – Luxury Global Travel Specialist (Sailing, Marine & Yachting)

Location: Hybrid working London/Surrey boarders

Salary: Up to £100,000 plus performance bonus, 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays, plus up to 5% pension contribution and other fantastic perks

To support this momentum, I am looking for an exceptional Head of Brand and Acquisition — a visionary leader with a proven track record in international marketing, team leadership and brand growth. This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-performing, international marketing team and shape the brand identity of a premium business at the very top of its game.

The Role

As Head of Brand and Acquisition, you will be the strategic and creative force driving all elements of brand development and customer acquisition across global markets — with a strong emphasis on the US. You’ll be responsible for managing and inspiring a team of 10–12 talented marketers based across key international territories.

Reporting into the Executive Leadership Team, you’ll develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that elevate the brand, tell compelling stories, and drive quality leads and bookings. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s ambitious growth goals, while reinforcing its status as a global leader in luxury sailing and yachting experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a dynamic team of 10–12 international marketers, fostering collaboration, creativity, and high performance.
  • Brand Strategy: Evolve the global brand identity to ensure it consistently resonates with audiences, inspires trust and drives conversion.
  • Customer Acquisition: Own the customer acquisition strategy with a focus on key growth markets, particularly the US. Develop campaigns across paid media, digital channels, partnerships and CRM.
  • Performance Marketing: Lead and optimise campaigns across PPC, SEO, CRM, and social platforms to deliver measurable pipeline and ROI.
  • Creative and Storytelling: Oversee the creation of beautiful, emotionally compelling content that captures the spirit of the brand and connects with customers on a deep level.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to align messaging, campaigns, and audience engagement across the customer journey.
  • Market Insight: Stay close to travel industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitive positioning to inform brand and acquisition strategies.
  • Global Outlook: Lead with a culturally attuned, international mindset — delivering campaigns that feel relevant and personalised across different markets.

The Person

This is a role for a strategic leader who balances commercial acumen with a passion for creativity and customer connection. You’ll be as comfortable in the data as you are developing a brand film or customer journey. You will bring a high level of confidence, credibility, and warmth — and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same.

  • Proven Experience in leading marketing functions at a senior level, ideally within luxury travel sectors (marine, boats, sailing).
  • Strong Customer Acquisition Background, particularly across digital channels and with demonstrable success in the US market.
  • Affinity with Sailing, Yachting or Boating — whether professionally or through personal interest. You’ll understand the nuances of this lifestyle and speak with authenticity to the brand’s clientele.
  • Global Perspective with experience managing international teams and executing campaigns across multiple territories and cultures.
  • Creative Flair and a natural storyteller — you understand how to bring a brand to life through beautiful content and emotionally resonant campaigns.
  • Data-Led Thinking with strong experience in pipeline generation, lead nurturing, database marketing and performance optimisation.
  • Exceptional Leadership & Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate others and manage change in a growing business.
