Job summary

SCS Railways is seeking a Head of BIM to lead the project BIM function within the Digital Delivery team. The role translates the Digital Completion strategy into a controlled BIM delivery model across SCS, Design House, Design Integrator and the supply chain, providing governance and assurance for all BIM deliverables forming the Project Information Model and Asset Information Model for Stages 4 and 5.

Qualifications

• Proven Digital Information leadership experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience forming and leading high-performing teams at senior levels.
• Ability to translate strategies into BIM delivery plans and measurable outputs.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Digital Completion strategy into BIM delivery plans, priorities, controls and measurable outputs.
• Provide technical leadership to the BIM team and wider project on BIM requirements, processes and deliverables.
• Maintain BIM Execution Plan and BIM Procedures; ensure alignment with Works Information and HS2 / ISO 19650.
• Lead and mentor Digital Specialists across Stage 4 and Stage 5 to ensure models, data and information are coordinated, assured and ready for handover.
• Drive delivery performance reporting, risk escalation and supply chain performance for BIM deliverables.
