Base pay range:

A$180,000.00 / yr - A$200,000.00 / yr

MARS Recruitment is excited to partner exclusively with a leading global organisation in their search for a dynamic Head of Billing and Accounts Receivable.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the entire Order to Cash process, leading a high-performing team across multiple regions. You'll drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and champion continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and business performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end Order to Cash process, including billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Establish and monitor service level agreements, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Manage business escalations, driving timely and effective resolutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of O2C operations.
  • Leverage systems and automation tools to streamline workflows and optimise performance.
  • Ensure all O2C activities comply with company policies, audit requirements, legal standards, and industry regulations.
  • Assess potential risks within the O2C process and develop strategies.
  • Develop operational forecasts and set achievable business targets.
  • Utilise data analytics and reporting to assess performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance transparency and predictability in cash operations, monitoring key financial metrics.
  • Analyse progress against targets, including variance analysis and performance drivers.
  • Monitor billing trends, compliance, past due accounts, and unbilled revenue to drive efficiency.
  • Identify factors impacting cash flow and implement proactive measures to address challenges.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Extensive industry experience, including at least four years in a similar role.
  • Experience leading large teams globally.
  • Experience working in a large global organisation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) or other applicable professional qualifications.

Flexible work from home arrangements - 3 days in the office per week.
