Head of Business Development - Leading International Law Firm
Location: London (Hybrid)

Are you a strategic and commercial senior business development leader looking to shape the future of BD at a forward-thinking, global law firm?

We're supporting a high-performing and ambitious firm in hiring a Head of Business Development - a pivotal role reporting directly to the Director of BD, Marketing & Communications. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior BD professional with experience in professional or legal services to lead a market-facing team and drive revenue growth across sectors, clients, and practices.

The role:

Shape and implement the firm's BD strategy to drive profitable revenue growth

Lead on major opportunities, supporting must-win bids and embedding best practice

Work closely with sector heads and BD leads to launch targeted campaigns and client initiatives

Use client insight and market data to identify revenue opportunities and improve targeting

Lead, inspire, and develop a collaborative, high-performing BD team

Partner with the operations and insights teams to improve the speed, consistency, and impact of BD activity

Deliver sales and relationship training to fee-earners and support on key client interactions

About you:

Proven track record in senior BD leadership, ideally with Head-of-level experience

Experience in legal, professional services or financial services

Strategic, commercial, and creative thinker with strong influencing skills

Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement capabilities

Ambitious, collaborative and energised by leading high-performing teams
