What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a bold and innovate leader with vision, who turns ideas into action rapidly, learns and fails fast, and takes colleagues and stakeholders along with them.
Whilst you will be individually highly capable, you will deliver most effectively as part of a team-of-teams to achieve the best outcomes and make a positive difference to the Group and its customers. You will cut through hierarchy, silos and bureaucracy with a relentless focus on helping Group Audit & Conduct Investigations to be the very best it can be in service of our wider Group and Customers in support of the ultimate purpose of Helping Britain Prosper.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the leadership team of the GA&CI Chief Operating Officer and in support of the Chief Internal Auditors and Executive Team:
Capabilitiesyou’ll need:
Leading Teams
Lead and take ownership of delivery, while championing the growth and development of colleagues.
Project & Programme Delivery
The ability to deliver process and technological change effectively in a complex environment, to drive through novel solutions that often mean being the first adopter.
Business Strategy
The ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit Strategy and connect audit delivery and business monitoring insights to such strategies at the Macro level
Data Literacy, Automation and Artificial Intelligence
The ability to analyse, understand and communicate data as information, to use data to drive effective outcomes; design and lead the deployment of technology and find opportunities to use AI solutions to automate work, simplify tasks and derive greater insights.
Managing Self
Prioritising your work and that of others effectively to ensure timely and beneficial delivery. Understanding the critical path for delivery and removing obstacles; planning and preparing to ensure resources are used efficiently and effectively. Taking ownership for personal development and growth, and accountability for one's work and behaviours. Ability to understand and handle different situations, roles and teams with adaptability.
