This role offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel to Manchester and Peterborough.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Annual Assurance Plan.
• Lead and manage a high-performing team of 3-4 assurance professionals.
• Provide expert assurance reporting to executives and governance bodies.
• Build strong relationships across the business to ensure effective risk oversight.
• Collaborate closely with first and third-line assurance functions.
• Support the Group CROs and Risk Director with strategic assurance initiatives.

Head of Assurance

Location: Largely remote with travel to Manchester and Peterborough when required.

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving assurance excellence across complex organisations? Markerstudy Group is looking for a Head of Assurance to lead our second line assurance function. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact across our growing and dynamic business.

As Head of Assurance, you ll take charge of designing, managing, and delivering the annual Assurance Plan across the group. You ll provide critical oversight on how effectively we re managing risks, meeting regulatory expectations, and ensuring positive outcomes for our customers.

You will be a trusted advisor to the Board, Risk Committees, and Senior Executives, offering expert assurance insights and pragmatic solutions to improve our control environment.

What You ll Be Doing
