Head of Assets (Electricity)

ESP Utilities is currently looking for a Head of Assets to help maintain relationships with ICPs and Developers for the build-out of networks under the asset adoption process, which is key to achieving compliance.

As part of the senior management team, this role will ensure that these networks meet statutory and regulatory requirements by setting and maintaining policy, procedures, and technical standards, as well as providing Tier 2 assurance of our electrical processes.

The role requires broad knowledge across electricity distribution, with particular experience in EHV networks, network development, and policy setting.

This role is a primary leadership position, expected to liaise and communicate with the ESPUG Executive team and the Board when necessary. The role will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and high performance.

The candidate should be aware of regulatory changes related to policies such as Access SCR, TCR, etc., and actively engage with industry bodies like the ENA and INA.
