Babcock is seeking a Head of Asset Management Strategy to lead enterprise asset management across the business. You will shape long-term frameworks, standards and operating models to maximise asset value and reduce risk.
The role is based at Bristol, Plymouth, or Clyde with hybrid working and travel to sites as required. Security clearance is expected for this UK role.

As Head of Asset Management Strategy, you'll have the opportunity to lead and influence asset management strategy at enterprise level within one of the UK's leading engineering and defence organisations. You'll drive the development of long-term asset management frameworks, policies, standards and operating models that support critical defence and infrastructure capabilities. Working closely with executive leaders and key stakeholders, you'll help maximise asset value, manage risk and create lasting impact across a complex, asset-intensive environment.
Day-to-day, you'll provide strategic leadership for enterprise asset management across the business. You'll establish and continuously improve the Asset Management System, define best practice standards, and drive organisational capability to ensure assets are managed safely, efficiently and sustainably. This role offers the chance to shape the future direction of asset management while developing industry-leading expertise within a business that delivers vital services supporting national security and public infrastructure.
This role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 - 3 days onsite at one of Babcock's key locations: Babcock Technology Centre, Devonport Royal Dockyard or HM Naval Base Clyde, Near Helensburgh Argyll and Bute site. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to the other sites to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery across the business.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
