Empowering Learning is seeking to appoint a Head of Art & Design to work within a Secondary School in Buckinghamshire. This position is scheduled to start in September 2025.

Position Highlights

• High daily rate: £200 - £300
• Full-time, permanent role
• Opportunity for progression with added TLR

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working within an Art & Design Secondary School Department
• Proven leadership experience in a school setting
• Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting students' potential
• Experience working with children with learning difficulties (SEN)
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Daily Responsibilities

• Teaching & delivering GCSE Art & Design curriculum
• Participating in SLT meetings and contributing to key decisions in the department
• Providing PPA time for planning and preparation
