Job summary

Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior leader to head the applications support within Group Digital. The role focuses on modernising the service, maximising digital value, and supporting critical healthcare systems such as PAS, EPR and PACS.

The post involves line management of the Applications Support team, engaging with senior stakeholders, and driving improvements to patient care through technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in an IT or business-related subject, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL Foundation.
• PRINCE2 Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Develop a modern, customer-focused applications service.
• Maximise the value of digital investments.
• Support some of the most critical systems used across the organisations.
• Provide line management and daily operational leadership to the Applications Support team.
• Inspire confidence across technical teams, operational services and senior stakeholders.
• Shape how technology enables safer, better and more efficient patient care.
