Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) seeks a Head of Analytics Engineering to drive strategy, design, and delivery of analytics products across asset classes, pricing and risk, with AI/ML embedded into scalable, production-grade systems. You will lead engineering across real-time and batch workloads and partner with Product, Research and Commercial leadership to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
Deep expertise in scaling analytics computations for financial markets.
Strong programming in Python, Java and C++ with experience building distributed data systems.
Experience with AI/ML systems and production deployment, including model lifecycle management.
Experience with a financial data provider, exchange, sell-side institution, or quantitative firm.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the Analytics Engineering strategy for a portfolio of analytics products, aligned to the Data and Analytics Product Engineering unit.
Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of production-grade analytics products (pricing, risk) across real-time and batch use cases.
Set and enforce engineering best practices across code quality, testing, and observability.
Drive integration of AI/ML into analytics products with path to production, monitoring and governance.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Research and Data Platforms to deliver scalable analytics capabilities.
