About the role

We believe in data-driven decision-making and seek a strategic Head of Analytics to elevate our capabilities. Reporting to the CTO, this role involves shaping strategy, leading a team of over 20 analysts, data scientists, and managers, and influencing top-level decisions. You will develop scalable, insight-driven practices reaching millions of UK customers and strengthen partnerships with major insurers.

You will lead a talented team, drive advanced analytics, AI/ML innovation, and foster a culture of insight-led thinking. Your responsibilities include scaling self-serve tools, embedding data products into business processes, and using data to grow and evolve.

• Define and drive company-wide analytics strategy aligned with business goals
• Champion modern data tools and practices, including AI/ML and experimentation
• Build scalable analytics infrastructure with data engineering
• Develop and inspire a high-performing analytics team
• Establish KPIs, data governance, and measurement frameworks
• Advise senior leaders, translating insights into strategic impact

Typical team projects include launching ML models, testing behavioral responses, defining key metrics, rebuilding dashboards, and sharing best practices.

What we're looking for

• Proven leadership in analytics within a product-led business
• Deep knowledge of experimentation, AI/ML, and automation
• Strong stakeholder influence and storytelling skills
• Fluency in SQL, Python, BI platforms, and cloud analytics
• Understanding of business strategy and data's role in growth
• Experience in tech, e-commerce, fintech, or financial services sectors
