Job summary

Lighthouse Games, a new AAA studio in Leamington Spa, is seeking an experienced Analytics Lead to own analytics for a new AAA IP end to end. Reporting to the Director of Live Service, you will define how we measure player behaviour, lead the team, and be the analytics voice in the room.

You'll lead the analytics function, ensure data quality, build forecasts, and partner with design to prioritise analytics requirements, delivering insights that drive live operations and creative decisions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record owning analytics for a live product at meaningful scale in games, digital products or platforms.
• Proven leadership of analysts and data engineers, setting standards and coaching craft.
• Genuinely strong, hands-on SQL, comfortable writing and reviewing complex queries yourself.
• Ability to build and defend a forecast or scenario model with statistical rigor.
• Clear communication that tells a story with data and explains trade-offs to creative and commercial partners.

Responsibilities

• Decide what needs to be built: define the analytics strategy, event taxonomies, and instrumentation roadmap.
• Lead the team day to day: setting priorities, reviewing work, and unblocking delivery.
• Deliver actionable insight by turning data and analysis into clear recommendations.
• Manage partnerships across the studio, particularly with design, to get analytics requirements built and prioritised.
• Deliver forecasting, build outlooks and scenarios, and pressure test assumptions.
• Lead data governance and privacy by driving compliance across analytics and data pipelines, monitoring data quality, managing access, and keeping documentation current.
• Act as the primary analytics counterpart to our publisher’s analytics team, aligning on data definitions and reporting.

• Clear communication that tells a story with data and explains trade-offs to creative and commercial partners
  A practical approach to experimentation and decision-making when formal tests aren't feasible
