Job summary

Galaxy Digital Inc. in London seeks an experienced Algo Trading / Head of Execution to lead development of low-latency trading systems and state-of-the-art routing.

You will benchmark strategies, collaborate with traders, and guide a global team building the core execution infrastructure for crypto markets. The role requires 10+ years in routing strategies, expertise in FIX, OMS/EMS, and real-time data, with a hands-on, problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building routing strategies for financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and market data processing.
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput trading systems and cloud/hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the development of a low-latency, high-throughput Algo Trading / Smart Order Router system.
• Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on execution quality, liquidity, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with traders, product managers to refine routing logic and build new algorithmic capabilities.
• Integrate the SOR with trading, booking and reporting stack.
• Monitor and optimize system performance under real-world trading conditions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
