A leading international company in London is seeking a Head of AI Governance. This role will lead the Responsible AI efforts, ensuring AI technologies are used transparently and ethically. Successful candidates will have at least 8 years in governance roles, a strong background in AI compliance, and excellent communication skills. The Privacy Team acts as a technical resource to the Group, providing advice and assistance with the practical consequences of complying with relevant obligations, including interpretation of relevant laws, and guidance on the implementation of internal policies and procedures. This role reports into the Global Privacy Counsel.
This is an in-person role, with a minimum of 3 days per week in 5 Howick Place, London.
We are seeking to hire a Head of AI Governance to lead Informa’s Responsible AI efforts and contribute to the evolution of our AI Policy Framework for the Informa Group. Sitting within Informa’s Privacy Team, the role will involve working closely with our technology teams building and deploying leading AI technologies and our business teams using these tools. Additionally, this role will work with the Privacy Team, the Commercial Data Governance Team, and our broader Legal & Governance colleagues. The key aim being to ensure that we make the most of our opportunities with AI whilst ensuring our development and uses of AI technologies are transparent, ethical, and compliant with relevant regulations, and that colleagues across Informa understand their responsibilities when developing, procuring, and/or deploying AI-based solutions.
The role suits passionate, proactive, goal-oriented candidates who are intellectually curious, thrive in complicated but ambitious organisations, and who are happy to roll up their sleeves and be very hands-on in developing, implementing, and evangelising Responsible AI across Informa. The role is well-suited to versatile candidates with a background in AI Governance, Data Ethics, Privacy Compliance & Operations, etc. People with heart and ambition, and a strong mix of emotional and professional intelligence, will be successful in the role. This role will also require strong collaboration and coordination skills with the ability to influence a broad set of senior stakeholders.
