Job summary

Agoda is seeking a Front-End Engineering Manager to lead a talented team building scalable, high-performance web applications that power user experiences at global scale.

You will collaborate with product, design, data science, and cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enabled features and robust platforms. You will mentor engineers and steer architecture across SSR, micro-frontends, and modern front-end workflows.

Qualifications

• Lead teams building large-scale web applications using React/Angular/Vue.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency and frontend discipline.
• Deep knowledge of web performance optimization and scalability.
• Experience integrating frontend with backend services via REST/GraphQL/WebSockets.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web applications and product experiences.
• Drive front-end and full-stack solutions, including AI-enabled features and workflows.
• Collaborate with product/design/data/engineering to deliver impactful experiences.
• Shape architecture across SSR, micro-frontends, state management, and API integration.
• Ensure features are performant, observable, and production-ready.
• Mentor engineers and grow team capability in modern web engineering and practices.
• Guide decisions on performance, reliability, monitoring, and maintainability in production.
