Maternity Cover (12 months)
£54,000 p/a pro rata (client is looking for either 4 or 5 days a week)
Hybrid three days in the office
We are recruiting a Head of Advocacy and Policy for a London based charity focussed on ending hunger and malnutrition internationally.
This is a one-year fixed term contract providing maternity cover.
The successful candidate will have experience working with senior politicians, opinion formers and other high-profile stakeholders. You will have a keen understanding of international development policy as well as parliament and its processes. Previous experience working in international development or a related field would be preferrable but is not essential.
You will be responsible for Advocacy and Policy work within the organisation and therefore need to be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will need to demonstrate a track record of working effectively with senior stakeholders and delivering as part of a team.

Terms and Conditions: The role is offered as fixed-term maternity cover (12 months). The role is full-time and is currently based on a minimum of three days in the office in London Bridge, London. We have a flexible working policy and requests for different working hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Alongside your salary of £54,000, a generous benefits package is available.
