Position: Head of Policy and Advocacy
Type: Maternity Cover (12 months)
Salary: £54,000 p/a pro rata (client is looking for either 4 or 5 days a week)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, three days in the office
We are recruiting a Head of Advocacy and Policy for a Norwich-based charity focused on ending hunger and malnutrition internationally.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract providing maternity cover.
The successful candidate will have experience working with senior politicians, opinion formers, and other high-profile stakeholders. A keen understanding of international development policy, as well as parliament and its processes, is essential. Previous experience in international development or a related field is preferable but not essential.
You will be responsible for advocacy and policy work within the organization, requiring a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you should demonstrate a track record of working effectively with senior stakeholders and delivering as part of a team.
