Job description

This is a key leadership post with line management responsibilities. Experience within service development, operational development and staff wellbeing is essential. The Charity is seeking an experienced individual to lead the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed support services for people affected by sexual violence in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will help shape and implement the strategic plan for adult services-ensuring the charity's approach remains person-centred, effective, and responsive to the needs of those supported.

Experience in a similar role is essential, along with (but not limited to):

• Counselling/psychotherapy qualification at diploma level or above or equivalent
• Qualifications in safeguarding and supervision
• Understanding of relevant legislation (vulnerable adults, child protection, sexual offences, adults with incapacity).
• Experience in and knowledge of service design and process management, including developing procedures and protocols for service delivery.
• Understanding of the gendered dynamics and broad ranging of impacts of sexual violence, including rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation.
