Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, is seeking a Head of Admissions (Academic Programmes) to steer the admissions strategy across our portfolio. This senior role offers significant autonomy to lead, innovate, and continuously improve the applicant journey for global entrants.

You will work with senior leaders and faculty, shaping experience, policy and process improvements while driving recruitment, conversion and yielding top applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience leading admissions or applicant-focused functions within an educational environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Leadership and Planning – Shape the strategic direction of admissions and advise on priorities.
• Operational Leadership – Lead end-to-end admissions lifecycle with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• People Leadership – Lead, coach and develop the admissions team to foster high performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, faculty and University colleagues.
• Data Leadership – Use admissions data and trends to inform planning and performance.
• IT and Systems – Drive improvements across admissions systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Financial Management – Lead admissions budget planning and oversight.
• Recruitment and Applicant Engagement – Partner with Recruitment, Marketing and Programme teams to support activities.
