Job Description

This is a great opportunity to build a 0-1 product and scale it massively. You would be building products to help small businesses get paid internationally. Today, we process over £5B per month for small businesses getting paid through bank transfers.

We’re now looking to enable our customers to get paid by cards and local payment methods for subscriptions, e-commerce checkouts, etc. This is your chance to create a truly differentiated product focused on international payments, contrasting the domestic-first approach of most competitors.

You will be responsible for product strategy & execution, economics risk, and go-to-market strategies with support from relevant teams within Wise.

You will directly lead two teams/PMs and be responsible for their roadmap and execution.

Qualifications

You’ve built products for small businesses.

You’ve managed products at scale: Series B/£100M+ in volume/100K+ paying users.

You’ve taken a product to market: worked with marketing on new product launches.

You have leadership experience, having led 2 or more PMs.

Excellent product management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Customer-focus – You’ve worked on products with thousands or millions of customers, conducted surveys or research, and interviewed users. You can define the customer impact of your product investments.

You’re data-driven – Able to analyze data to identify opportunities and measure impact. You prioritize adding value to customers and can rally the company around your insights with compelling data stories.

You have a good technical understanding – to help your team prioritize technological investments, address tech debt, bugs, and new features.

Effective communicator – Able to frame problems clearly and influence teams. Comfortable engaging with partners internally and externally, whether in writing or during sprint planning.

You’re proactive in leadership, assisting your team with hiring, learning new skills, and removing blockers. You don’t adhere strictly to a traditional product manager role but focus on getting things done.
