We are currently undergoing significant changes within our Patient Access Service, focusing on enhancing our digital capabilities and capacity. Our vision is to provide compassionate, efficient, and accurate scheduling services that ensure seamless access to quality healthcare for every patient. We aim to guarantee that every patient has the right appointment at the right time and can receive timely information regarding their appointments. Our goal is to make the booking process smooth and stress-free, empowering patients to take control of their care.

We are looking for a senior leader with operational experience and expertise in managing large-scale digital programmes. The successful candidate will oversee the operational management of the Patient Access, Immunology and Allergy, and some Hospital Transport services. They will lead review and reform programmes, specifically targeting improvements in booking practices to enhance our service delivery.

Lead and manage a diverse SBU of SBU’s across DCSS in line with the Trust mission, vision and values to achieve the Trust corporate objectives. Across this SBU you will ensure balanced and effective clinical governance across quality and safety, finance and performance domains.
